The Acer Liquid E (S100) was one of the early high-resolution Android smartphones, offering a crisp WVGA display that was rare for its time. An evolutionary step over the original Acer Liquid, it launched with Android 2.1 Eclair, providing a much smoother user experience and improved multitasking. Powered by an underclocked 768MHz Snapdragon processor (capable of 1GHz), it provided a solid balance of performance and battery life, wrapped in a unique, slightly curved chassis with distinctive notification LEDs on the top edge.
