An upgraded version of the original One Touch series featuring a high-contrast 'View' display for better readability.
The Alcatel OT View was introduced in late 1998 as an evolution of the One Touch Easy and Club models. Its primary selling point was the 'View' display—a higher-resolution monochrome graphic screen capable of showing up to five lines of text, which was a significant improvement for reading SMS and navigating the phonebook. It retained the iconic, rugged design of its predecessors, including the pull-out antenna and the unique ability to operate on three standard AAA batteries via an adapter. The OT View was favored by users who wanted a more modern visual interface while keeping the legendary durability and battery flexibility of the Alcatel brand.
