The Honor View 10 (known as the V10 in China) was marketed as the dawn of the 'AI era' for smartphones, featuring the Kirin 970 chipset with its dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU). This allowed for advanced features like real-time scene recognition in photography and offline AI-accelerated translation. Unlike many of its contemporaries that moved fingerprint sensors to the back to accommodate 18:9 displays, the View 10 managed to keep its sensor on the front chin while maintaining slim bezels.
