The HTC Evo 4G made history as the first 4G-enabled smartphone in the United States, featuring a massive screen and built-in kickstand.
The HTC Evo 4G was a pioneer in the mobile industry, launching on Sprint as the first smartphone to support 4G (WiMAX) speeds. It was a multimedia beast, featuring a large 4.3-inch display and a signature built-in metal kickstand for hands-free media viewing. Powered by a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, it also included a mini-HDMI port for outputting HD content to TVs. With its 8 MP camera capable of 720p recording and a front-facing camera for video chat, it set the standard for high-end Android 'superphones' in 2010.
