The HTC S620 is a sleek, ultra-slim messaging device that brought a full QWERTY keyboard and Wi-Fi to a thin, candybar form factor.
The HTC S620, codenamed 'Excalibur', was HTC's answer to the BlackBerry and Moto Q craze of the mid-2000s. It was remarkably thin for its time, at just 12.8mm, yet managed to pack a full, comfortable QWERTY keyboard and built-in Wi-Fi. A unique feature of the S620 was the 'JOGGR' touch-sensitive strip located on the right side of the screen, allowing users to scroll through emails and adjust volume with a slide of the thumb. Running Windows Mobile 5.0 Smartphone Edition, it was a non-touch device optimized for one-handed operation and intensive text-based communication, making it a staple for mobile professionals who needed constant access to Outlook and Office documents.
