The HTC Shift (codenamed Clio) is one of the most ambitious mobile devices ever produced. It is a hybrid UMPC that features a unique 'SnapVUE' mode, which allows users to access emails, calendar, and SMS instantly via a low-power Qualcomm processor running a modified Windows Mobile environment, even when the primary system is off. For full productivity, it slides and tilts to reveal a QWERTY keyboard, running a full version of Windows Vista on an Intel processor. With a 7-inch touchscreen, a built-in fingerprint sensor, and 30GB of hard drive space, it was designed for the ultimate mobile professional who refused to carry both a laptop and a PDA.
