The HTC Touch Dual is a stylish slider that combines the TouchFLO touchscreen experience with a physical keypad for faster dialing.
The HTC Touch Dual, codenamed 'Nike', was the second device in the Touch family. It addressed the need for physical input by adding a slide-out keypad (available in both 12-key and 20-key QWERTY-hybrid versions depending on the region). While it was slimmer and narrower than the original Touch to facilitate better one-handed use, it gained high-speed 3G/HSDPA connectivity for much faster browsing. It features the signature TouchFLO interface for gesture-based navigation on its 2.6-inch screen. Curiously, it omitted Wi-Fi to maintain its slim profile, positioning it as a sleek, fashion-forward 3G device for the mobile professional.
