The HTC Touch is the pioneer of the Touch series, introducing the world to the intuitive, finger-friendly TouchFLO interface.
The HTC Touch, codenamed 'Elf', was a landmark device that signaled a shift away from stylus-heavy PDAs toward finger-driven smartphones. Released just before the original iPhone, it introduced TouchFLO technology, allowing users to scroll and navigate through menus with a simple sweep of the finger. Its incredibly compact and stylish 'soft-touch' design made it one of the most pocketable Windows Mobile devices ever made. While modest in power, its focus on aesthetics and a simplified user experience paved the way for the modern smartphone era. It features a flush 2.8-inch screen and a minimalist front panel with only a few physical buttons, emphasizing the new touch-centric philosophy.
