The Oppo A72 5G was one of the first devices to bring 5G connectivity to the A-series, powered by the efficient Dimensity 720 chipset. It features a 6.5-inch IPS LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate, offering a much smoother UI experience compared to the standard 60Hz models. To keep the design slim at 7.9mm, Oppo opted for a slightly smaller 4040mAh battery compared to the 4G variant, but it still comfortably lasts through a standard workday. It houses a 16MP triple camera system on the back and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for quick access. This model represents the transition period where 5G started becoming accessible in the mid-range market.
