A stylish, compact sliding phone released as part of the iconic Pantone color collaboration.
The Sharp 825SH, also known as the 'Pantone Slide,' is a fashion-forward feature phone released for SoftBank Japan. Following the success of the Pantone flip phones, the 825SH brought the vibrant color palette to a sleek sliding form factor. It features a 2.8-inch New Mobile ASV LCD that provides excellent viewing angles for its built-in 1seg digital TV tuner. Equipped with a 2-megapixel autofocus camera and motion-control sensors, it allowed users to interact with the phone by shaking or tilting. Its primary appeal remains its variety of 8 distinct colors and its compact, palm-friendly design, making it a staple of late-2000s Japanese mobile culture.
