Sharp 930SH (AQUOS SHOT)
Approx. Price
USD 140
The first 'AQUOS SHOT' model featuring a high-sensitivity 8-megapixel CCD camera and compact flip design.
The Sharp 930SH marked the birth of the 'AQUOS SHOT' brand, bridging the gap between mobile phones and high-end digital cameras. Released for SoftBank Japan, it was a pioneer in using an 8-megapixel CCD sensor rather than CMOS, allowing for high sensitivity (up to ISO 2500) and reduced noise in low-light conditions. It features Sharp's signature 3.0-inch Half-XGA (WVGA) New Mobile ASV LCD, which was praised for its incredible pixel density and color accuracy in 2008. Despite its powerful camera and ProPix engine, the 930SH remains remarkably slim and lightweight, representing the pinnacle of Japanese flip-phone engineering.
