Sharp GX1

Approx. Price USD 30

A classic candybar companion to the GX10, offering one of the first integrated cameras in a non-flip form factor.

The Sharp GX1 was released in late 2002 alongside the more famous GX10 clamshell, aimed at users who preferred the traditional candybar form factor. As one of the earliest phones to feature an integrated VGA camera, it was a pioneer of mobile photography in Europe. It featured a high-quality (for the time) 65,000-color TFT display and GPRS for mobile internet access via the Vodafone Live! portal. With its sleek silver finish, built-in infrared port, and dedicated camera button, the GX1 was a functional and stylish choice during the initial wave of the camera phone revolution.
