The newest smartphones from China are amazing tools for taking pictures and videos. I think the Oppo Find X9 Ultra is at the very top of that list. It is already a fantastic phone, but I always get excited when we can add gear to make a great thing even better. There is simply no better way to do this than by using the oppo ultra camera kit that are coming out for our phones right now.
Today, we have a very cool set of accessories to show you. It is called the Khronos Creator Kit for the Oppo Find X9 Ultra. A company named Tilta makes it, and it is a huge kit for recording video. When we put it all together, it acts like a metal cage around the phone.

What Is Inside the Box

• A metal MagSafe phone case with a protective frame that locks in place.
• A cover to protect the camera lenses.
• An adapter for a standard 67mm filter, plus another adapter if you want to attach the optional Oppo 300mm zoom lens.

• A special adapter to attach lights or microphones.
• A quick-release mount so we can put it on a tripod easily.

When I put the full oppo ultra camera kit  together, it feels like a very high-quality piece of technology. Everything is heavy and put together well, using a nice mix of plastic and metal. The case itself is very strong. It has a metal shell and a metal front frame. I have to remove the frame to slide the Oppo into place, and then I lock it with a tiny slider at the top. It is a bit tricky to lock it correctly the first time, but we all get the hang of it eventually.

How the Gear Feels and Works With Oppo Find X9 Ultra Camera Kit 

The cooling fan snaps right onto the back using magnets. It is very easy and satisfying to attach. However, it needs a USB-C power cord to work. That is not perfect, because it means we have to plug a portable battery pack into the kit just to keep the phone cool.
The hand grip is very large. In fact, it is much thicker than the grips on most normal cameras. It has a rubber texture so it does not slip out of our hands, though the bare plastic parts are still a little slippery. The grip connects to our phone using Bluetooth. But, we can also plug it in using a USB-C cable. When it is plugged in, it actually charges the phone! The grip has a large 5,000mAh battery inside, and it charges the phone very fast.
I noticed a few different buttons and controls on the grip. The wheel on the grip turns very smoothly. It does not speed up or slow down based on how fast I spin it. There is also a small button that opens the camera app the moment I press it. Next to that, there is a big button with a bumpy texture that we use to take a photo or start recording. We can use the spinning wheel to zoom in and out, or we can use it to focus the picture exactly how we want.

Filming Like a Pro with oppo find x9 ultra camera kit 

This oppo find x9 ultra camera kit works best when we use the Oppo Pro Video app. It allows us to do professional things, like focusing the camera by hand. Both of the handles attach to special slots on the metal case. They use a spring to click into place, and then there is a small lever to lock them down tight. The adjustable handle has its own lever that we tighten to hold it steady. Because of this, I can spin the handle to any angle I want, depending on what I am trying to film.

The iPhone has great video features and a lot of accessories, but the actual camera parts inside the Oppo phone are much better, and that makes our videos look brighter and sharper.
This kit is an extra accessory made by another company, and we will be able to buy it soon. However, I cannot find it for sale anywhere right now. It is not on the Oppo website, and it is not on the Tilta store yet. We will update this article as soon as we find out how much it costs!
